The Lyrics and Songs shows what we call an everyday relationship between two people relationship with each other that always end with one of them leaving each other to pursue another relationship with someone else.

It what everyone in the world has been through (don't lie). Well this song is aimed at guys and girls who have had this happened to them before or has yet to experience it.

Electric Guest

Electric Guest is a Los Angeles-based band formed in 2011. The group comprises Asa Taccone and Matthew Compton nicknamed "Cornbread" for unknown reason. Along with brothers Todd and Tory Dahlhoff playing bass and keyboards/guitar, respectively, in the touring version of the band.

Asa Taccone is the Vocal of the Electric Guest and also Instrumental

Tory Dahlfoff is the Guitar and Keyboard Player of the Electric Guest

Asa used to produce a lot of hip hop but one day, walking out of the visiting room of a prison, coming from visiting a friend, another prisoner stopped him and asked "Are you Asa". He replied "yes" and the guy said, "I like your music, I'm gonna hit you up when I get out of here". After that encounter, Asa decided to stop doing hip hop.

One of the members of the band, the keyboard player Tory, lived in Asa and Matthew's (they're roommates) backyard in a tent for 6 months to try to save money. He would come in when it rained but that was it.

The first Electric Guest song to be played on radio was a song called 'Troubleman' that is nearly 9 minutes long.

Matthew is afraid of snakes because of a traumatic experience he had growing up. A snake fell on him from a garage door while it was opening.

Asa got shingles while making the album because he was so stressed out.

A few of the song's vocals on Electric Guest's album 'Mondo' are from dictaphone vocal takes that were initially used for the demos but ended up being kept out of sheer laziness.

Asa saw a video of a young Matthew Compton playing drums at a basement show in Virginia. At one point in the video, he drank half of a 40, then pours the rest all over the drum kit and then plays super aggressively, causing the alcohol to spray everywhere. (Twas Awesome)

The middle name of all 2 members of the group is "Michael", after Michael Jackson. Asa is such a big MJ fan that in 2009 when Michael Jackson went to the hospital in L.A. and died, Asa would spend hours singing songs, crying, holding hands with other fans of Michael Jackson.

Asa is the son of Theatre Director Tony Taccone and younger Brother of Jorma Taccone who is famous for playing along side Adam Samberg in Hot Rod and he voiced William Shakespeare in The Lego Movie and appearing in Grown Up 2 as the Male Cheerleader.

Asa also wrote the original songs for several of American Dad! episodes, including Hot Water, Minsteral Krampus and Rubberneckers

Asa has composed the old and new Springfield anthem from The Simpsons episode, "Walking Big & Tall"

Producing a Music Video

A task has been given to us with an idea to do a Foo Fighters video of our own with some editing of our own and an editing of our storyboard in the video. In order to this we were told to make a storyboard.

We have taken 9 main shots of the music video each with a member of the Music Videos performing the song which is actually us lip syncing towards the songs and some movements to make the music video more entertaining.

We then sliced up all nine of our shot to shorten our music video. Then we added in some bits and bobs of the music video shots into the main part of the music video and mashed up together. Once we mashed them up into a video towards my liking.

Our music video for the song “Holiday” by Electric Guest will be set in several of different locations and tells the story of a young guy trying to win the girl of his dreams. The music video will take place in a number of different locations such as, central London, Central Park (in Dagenham) and a studio space. Each different location will tell little part of the young guys story. While doing that we would film in the locations where it would be suitable to film the music video, plus we would want to film the video at a certain time of the day around the summertime, which is around the evening because the song really feels like the scenery is a nice sunset atmosphere. The music video will conclude with the guy winning the girl.
